These Terms apply to the CHICOWRIES websites, social media platforms, and mobile apps (the “Platform”); the digital experiences, membership program(s), and other services accessible through or enabled by the Platform (together with the Platform, the “Services”); the footwear, clothings, equipment, accessories, and other products sold or otherwise provided by (“Products”); and the experiences and events hosted by CHICOWRIES or in CHICOWRIES stores, delivery channels or shops anywhere in the world (“Experiences”).
When we say “CHICOWRIES,” “we,” “us,” or “our,” we are referring to the CHICOWRIES entity responsible for providing the Services, Products, or Experiences in your country or region. We are currently providing services and products for customers in Nigeria.
By purchasing a Product from us, you also agree to the Terms of Sale that apply in your country or region. The Terms of Sale are Supplemental Terms. For information about how to return Products, see the Return/Refund Policy that applies in your country or region.
Our Privacy Policy describes how CHICOWRIES collects, uses, shares, and otherwise processes information about you.
If you are younger than the legal age of majority where you live, you may only use the Services under the supervision of a parent or guardian who also agrees to these Terms. There may be additional age restrictions on Services or Experiences in certain countries or regions.
You may access the Services through a computer, mobile phone, tablet, console, or other technology (a “Device”). You agree to receive transactional and other emails, SMS and text messages from CHICOWRIES at the email address or other contact information you provide. Your carrier's normal data and text message rates and fees apply to your Device.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your account, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password (if you signed up with a password). You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or password or any other breach of security. We cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this section.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your payment information and for restricting access to your payment method, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your payment method. We are currently not storing your payment information so you put in the details each time you wish to pay for products or services on CHICOWRIES. We process your payment securely using our third party payment provider (PAYSTACK). You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your payment method or any other breach of security. We cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this section.
We may modify these Terms at any time. If we make changes, we will post the updated Terms on the Platform and update the "Date of last revision" at the top of these Terms. Your continued use of the Services, Products, or Experiences after the effective date of the revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Services, Products, or Experiences.
It is our duty to provide timely responses to customer inquiries. We strive to address all customer concerns within 24 to 48 hours on business days. However, during peak periods or holidays, response times may be longer. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to assist you.
Chicowries reserves the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Services or Products (or any part thereof) with or without notice. Prices of all Services and Products are subject to change without notice. We shall continue to provide our products and services to our customers in good faith as we stand for economic growth, health, integrity and service.
